We spent a wonderful day at Magic Mann Dispensary celebrating Indigenous Peoples Day with staff and customers alike. We shared squash soup, cranberry relish, sweet potato cornbread, thumbprint cookies, and sumac tea, all recipes from our new Gedakina cookbook, Sisters of the Sunrise, by Patricia Austin. Lots of questions were answered about who Gedakina is and what we do as an organization. What a fabulous way to spend Indigenous Peoples Day.
